Garage Yard Sale Permit

IMPORTANT: By ordinance, only the sale of donated personal property and the sale of personal property owned, used and maintained for personal use only by the seller, and not for resale to the public, shall be permitted to be sold from residential premises, and only with a (free) permit from the city.

• Sale must cannot be for more than three consecutive days.
• No more than two permits shall be issued for such sales upon residential premises in any six month period.
• Two or more people may hold a garage sale jointly at one location upon obtaining a permit. The person who resides at the location where the yard sale is to be held shall be listed as the applicant.
• Neighborhood yard sales are permitted. The organizer shall complete this application and list any additional participants. 
• No more than one neighborhood yard sale is permitted on the same street per 6-month period.
• One single-sided sign no more than 4 square feet in total area may be placed on the residential site where the sale will be held, and ONLY for the duration of the sale itself (not in advance).
