Auburn Honors 250

As our nation marks 250 years, the City Auburn is embracing this milestone with a yearlong celebration of pride, citizenship, and community spirit. America 250 is more than an anniversary — it’s an opportunity to honor the people, stories, and traditions that have shaped our nation, while inspiring the next generation to carry that legacy forward. Throughout 2026, Auburn will come together in meaningful ways to celebrate who we are, where we’ve been, and the bright future we’re building together.


Citywide Signature Events & Celebrations

December/January: The New Year's Auburn fireworks show was dedicated to celebrating the kick-off America's 250th year!
March: "Betsy Ross" 250th flags installed throughout the city
April: 250th light pole banners installed on the Lown Bridge
July 1: Free birthday cake sites across Auburn (pending)
July 4: Free Rec Camp for the first Auburn baby born on July 4th!
