Current Vacancies

The City of Auburn has several boards and committees that citizens can volunteer to be a member of.  Our current Board and Committee vacancies and upcoming term expirations are listed below.  Apply online or download the Application and return it to the City Clerk's office. 

The Sustainability & Natural Resource Management Board's working groups are always looking for new participants! Working groups include: Natural Products & Agriculture, Conservation, Community Forest, and Sustainability. High school students are welcome. Working group members are confirmed by the SNRB rather than the City Council. Confirmation is upon the recommendation of the working group. Participation is welcome before confirmation. There is no formal application process.  For more information or to express your interest, click here.

We are currently accepting applications for the Boards and Committees listed below:

- Planning Board (Please submit applications to the Office of the City Clerk by the deadline of January 13, 2025.)

For all below, please submit applications to the Office of the City Clerk by the deadline of February 3, 2025: 
- Auburn Sewerage District Board of Trustees 
- Auburn Water District Board of Trustees
- Complete Streets Committee
- Zoning Board of Appeals
- Board of Assessment Review (Alternate Member)
