Current Vacancies

The City of Auburn has several boards and committees that citizens can volunteer to be a member of.  Our current Board and Committee vacancies and upcoming term expirations are listed below.  Apply online or download the Application and return it to the City Clerk's office. 

We are currently accepting applications for the Boards and Committees listed below:

- Board of Assessment Review (Alternate Member seats)
- Zoning Board of Appeals
- Age Friendly Community Committee (terms ending 6/1/25)

The deadline to apply is May 5, 2025.

The Sustainability & Natural Resource Management Board's working groups are always looking for new participants! Working groups include: Natural Products & Agriculture, Conservation, Community Forest, and Sustainability. High school students are welcome. Working group members are confirmed by the SNRB rather than the City Council. Confirmation is upon the recommendation of the working group. Participation is welcome before confirmation. There is no formal application process.  For more information or to express your interest, click here.
