Public Workshop

WHAT:  A presentation on the city’s self-evaluation using the Community Resilience Partnership framework and the review of Community Actions to improve resiliency.  This will be followed by public discussion on priorities and pathways to improve community wide awareness and engagement.

WHEN: 5:30 PM Tuesday March 19, 2024

WHERE: City Council Chambers, Auburn Hall

WHY:  The City has engaged in all hazard planning, energy efficiency evaluations, and EV utilization for years. With the emergency of the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future’s Community Resilience Program, the city was able to evaluate its efforts holistically, document in one place efforts completed and underway, and initiate discussions about coordinated priorities going forward. This public workshop is a chance to share with the broader community and discuss our approach to implement activities in the face of climate change.
