Pending a vote by the Auburn School Committee on Wednesday, construction on the new Edward Little High School will start on the morning of Thursday, March 18. That will mean changes to vehicle traffic entering & exiting the ELHS campus.

The Auburn Heights entrance (off Western Avenue) will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC until further notice (likely until the summer of 2023). All vehicles will enter & exit the campus via Harris Street, Fairmount Avenue or Forest Avenue. All school buses will enter and exit the campus via Harris Street.

The Auburn Police Department asks you to please slow down, pay close attention to posted signs, watch for pedestrians & construction vehicles, and just be patient as we all get accustomed to these changes.
