About

Rachel Randall has lived in Maine for 22 years and brings a strong background in caregiving, and community leadership. She spent 15 years working as a surgical technologist in hospitals and surgical centers throughout Maine and Boston, and is the former owner of Rachel’s Home Daycare, where she provided quality in-home childcare in an environment where children were heard, valued, and loved.

Rachel has long been active in local schools and youth programs, serving as a PTO volunteer and president, as well as president of a dance parent organization. She and her family have also participated in international exchange programs, hosting four foreign exchange students and coordinating placements for four others from Spain, France, Germany, China, and Vietnam.

She is married and is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of three. During her two-year term, Rachel will make careful budgeting a priority, with close attention to how city decisions affect seniors and residents living on fixed or limited incomes.
